Thomas J Murray aka TJ

TJ Murray has been an entrepreneur most his adult life. Some time after completing his undergraduate degree, he founded Punta Cana Tours, a successful online tour operator in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. TJ reinvested his profits from this venture almost exclusively in rental properties, first in Punta Cana and then in Monmouth County. Since moving back to the U.S., TJ has been focused solely on real estate as an investor and property manager.

TJ holds an MBA but has found that his practical experience as an entrepreneur and investor has benefited him most in his current role. A life-long learner with more than a decade of hands-on business and investment exposure, TJ most enjoys finding and negotiating off market real estate deals.

When TJ isn’t crunching real estate numbers he’s mostly occupied with fatherhood; but when his kids permit he’s surfing, hiking or simply enjoying the great outdoors. He has lived on three different continents , visited dozens of countries and speaks fluent Spanish. Born and raised in Middletown, NJ, TJ currently resides in the Atlantic Highlands with his wife and two children.

Steven Peña

Real Estate has always been an interest for Monmouth County native Steven Peña. Shortly after graduating from West Virginia University, Steve returned home and began his realtor career. He became a top selling rookie agent and after several stellar years branched out on his own. For over a decade he’s been working as a local Monmouth County realtor under his personal brand – Homes By Steven Peña.

A handy-man with practical experience, Steve has an excellent understanding of rehab costs and local contractor costs. Couple that with his experience as a realtor and rental property investor – Steve is a unique professional who deeply understands the Monmouth County real estate market from numerous angles.

Aside from real estate, Steve enjoys running and spending time with his family. In his free time he’s usually fixing things around the house or helping family and friends do the same. He speaks fluent Spanish and is a local at heart, remaining in Monmouth County since childhood. Steve currently lives in his hometown of Middletown, NJ with his wife and two children.
